I’m inspired watching You Tube videos on how to create galaxy backgrounds with Distress inks and so this card. Also utilized the star dies from Nellie®’s. If I make a similar card a second time, I’d go with a white embossed sentiment instead of silver..
Supplies used:
1. 110 lb Neena® Bright White Card stock paper
2. Tim Holtz® Distress inks – Chipped Sapphire, Seedless preserve, Aged Mahogany, Mermaid Lagoon
3. Clear stamps from Hero Arts® (Holiday Greetings)
4. Silver Embossing powder from Ranger®
5. Nellie’s® Multi Frame Dies – Star 3
6. My Favorite Things® – BASIC STITCH LINES – Die-namics Die Set
8. Pattern paper from DCWV® – ‘Crispy Luxury’
I wish to submit this card to the following challenges:
- HLS March CAS Challenge
- Simon SaysStamp Monday Challenge: Make Your Own background
- HLS March Christmas Challenge
- Dies R Us Blog Challenge #68 – Something New
Thank you! 🙂

What a totally creative way to use a gorgeous galaxy background! I never in a million years would’ve thought to mix a galaxy scene with a Christmas card, but it makes perfect sense and turned out to be stunning! I like the accent colors you chose and how you included faux stitching around the border. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
